Casso captures on device, writes a session folder under a local temp path, and stages a prompt for you to paste. It does not call an LLM and does not upload screenshots. When you paste into Claude Code, Codex, or another agent, that product's terms apply - you choose the moment of share.

That split matters: annotation tooling should not force a second cloud hop before the agent you already trust.

• Avoid capturing password fields and secrets panes.
• Prefer local tools for first-pass annotation.

• Clear temp sessions if your machine is shared or audited.
